Storage and Handling
LogiFour is equipped to take care of the complete logistics processes, including storage and handling of various varieties of fruit vegetables.
We can organise administrative tasks, perform extensive quality inspections, and ensure that orders are ready for dispatch, complete with the corresponding labels and stickers.
Quality Assurance
Quality is our top priority, which is why we perform various inspections at customer and order level. We compile detailed inspection reports for both incoming and outgoing orders, complete with photos and specifications in accordance with the regulations.
In addition, we carry out various types of shelf-life tests to ensure ongoing product quality monitoring. This allows us to randomly sample the tomatoes even after the order has been delivered to ensure continued quality assurance.
Grading
Fresh tomatoes from Duijvestijn Tomatoes are supplied to LogiFour on a daily basis. After the first quality inspection, the tomatoes are graded by size, colour, weight, and number of units per box. Our sorting machine creates a complete 3D representation, allowing us to precisely detect the characteristics of each individual tomato. This enables us to grade them to any desired size and/or packaging. After grading, the full boxes are automatically placed on a pallet and prepared for immediate dispatch or packed according to customer specifications.
